The following section describes the recruitment drive process flow and requirements for the online competition. Please go through it thoroughly.

Pre Event Preparations and Activity Schedule

1. Participants shortlisted for the First Round of Trident Opportunity Unlimited – Open Mega Online Business Simulation Challenge will be informed of their selection through individual emails & phone calls on or before 07 Nov 2013. Shortlisted participants can also check their names on the list displayed here: View Shortlist.
2. Login ID / Passwords to attempt the Online Business Simulation Challenge will be sent to shortlisted participants through individual Emails. Listed Participants who do not receive their passwords on or before 07 Nov 2013 can call us at 0731 6600000 or +91 73899 30404 to receive the same.
3. Logins will be enabled from 9th November, 2013 at 10:00 AM Onwards. All shortlisted participants can attempt the Online Business Simulation Challenge through one of the 2 modes given under

   1. Software Download
      Participants choosing this mode must download and install the MikesBikes Intro Software (download) at least a day prior to the Online Business Simulation Challenge. They must Login to the software beforehand with the given Login IDs & Passwords to test the connection.

      Connection Testing
      Start Menu → Smartsims →(Click on) MikesBikes Intro Multiplayer → Click the Test Button appearing on Login Window → Testing is complete once the “Connection OK” & “Data Transfer OK” message is displayed in the Testing Window.

   2. Web Simulation Platform
      All participants choosing to attempt from this mode must login to our simulation portal (Open Portal) through the provided Login IDs & Passwords. The web login must be done at least a day prior to the start of the First Round to test the Login IDs & Passwords.

4. Mock Reporting on 09 Nov. 2013: Participants are required to login with the Login ID and password given and change the firm name and write their own name in the format <First Name (.) Last Name> (For Example- If Participant’s name is Ankit Sharma he is required to change his firm name to Ankit.Sharma). Participants are required to change the firm names on 9th November 2013 before 05:00 PM to ensure smooth functioning of the simulation at their end. 5. Apart from Final Selections we will select 45 candidates for “Waiting List” (View Waitlist). These candidates will get chance in case of drop outs from the final list. (Drop Out List: Participants from the final list who does not log-in at given reporting time i.e. 9th November, 2013 2013 by 05:00 PM will be considered as drop outs)
6. Final Reporting on 10 Nov. 2013: Reporting time for the event is 09:30 AM to 10:30 AM on 10th November, 2013. Participants are required to login with the Login ID and password and change the firm name again. This procedure is same as given in “Point Number 4”.
7. Online Notice Board for “Online Mega Business Simulation Challenge”: Participants are required to keep the Online Notice Board open throughout the process. Guidelines to be followed during the Event

1. All Participants must have a smooth working internet connection and a fully functioning Laptop / Desktop in front of them before the start of the Online Business Simulation Challenge.
2. All Participants must Login to the downloaded Business Simulation Software – MikeBikes Intro or Login to the Business Simulation Web Portal with Given Login IDs & Passwords.
3. Participants must make sure no other application or program is running on their computers during the Online Business Simulation Challenge so as to enable smooth functioning of the Business Simulation Software / Web Portal.
4. The Timelines given in the above schedule are final and all participants must adhere to it strictly.
5. Participants must enter their respective decisions into the Downloaded Software / Web Portal within the designated time as per the Schedule. No values can be changed once the Roll Over is performed.
6. Any changes made in the value of the previous round / previous year after the rollover render the respective decision period invalid for the participant.
7. In case of momentary loss of internet connectivity during the Simulation, the participant must logoff the Simulation Software / Web Portal and Login again upon reestablishment of internet connection to continue with the process.

Post Event

1. Results of the Online Business Simulation Challenge would be declared.
2. All shortlisted candidates from the Open Mega Online Business Simulation Challenge would be eligible to appear for the Round 2 of Trident – Opportunity Unlimited - Online Psychometric Test.
3. The selected participants from Round 1 would receive a link to attempt the Online Psychometric Test along with Usernames and Password to facilitate the same.
4. The participants would be given a timeline to attempt the Psychometric Test.
5. Further Instructions regarding the final shortlist would be updated on ou.tridentindia.com and shortlisted participants would be intimated of the preparations for the final round through individual telephone calls & via email.
