Business Simulation based Screening
1000+ MBA students would undergo a rigorous screening procedure.
The stage 1 of selection of suitable profiles will be done through a Business Simulation challenge. Participants in this round will undergo a head to head competition amongst themselves on an internationally recognized, tried and tested business simulation platform. In this type of competition, they will take charge of a given virtual company and steer it towards maximum profitability and share holder value through careful and critical strategic decisions in a dynamic and uncertain business environment. The initial screening round will be carried out in the following formats:
Intra-Institutional simulation competitions organized at top B-schools of the country
20 B-Schools throughout the country will be selected for this phase of the event where candidates will be screened based on business acumen, decision making skills and management abilities.

Punjab Colleges - Open Call
This format of recruitment exclusively is open to interested applicants from B-Schools located only in the Punjab. Interested candidates from these areas must submit their application for our screening process here:

The Open Mega Online Business Simulation Competition, with IIM A Confluence 2013, is a platform where willing applicants from all across the country will be invited to participate.
Open Mega Online Challenge Date – 10th November 2013
Requirements for Participation:
- Through Downloaded Software:
- Atleast 1 Laptop / Desktop per Participant
- Smooth Internet Connectivity for the Multiplayer Competition
- If using Institute computer Lab / Wifi / Institute LAN (Open Ports 80 and 3150)
- Preinstalled Simulation software on the Laptop / Desktop. Installation File Link: BUSINESS SIMULATION SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD
- Through Web Login:
- Atleast 1 Laptop / Desktop per Participant
- Smooth Internet Connectivity for the Multiplayer Competition
- Latest versions of Mozilla / Google Chrome / Safari Internet Browsers installed.
Business Simulation to be used for the Competition will be MikesBikes Intro. To experience and practice the business simulation software, download a copy from the Downloads page.
Registered participants will be provided with a unique login ID / Password which will enable them to login into the simulation software to play from their respective PCs. Participants will be judged on the basis of SHV or Share Holder Value at the end of the game.

Trident Portal Registration & Psychometric Test
In the next leg of the activity, Candidates shortlisted from the 1st stage through business simulation would undergo a thorough personality assessment and evaluation through an online psychometric test. These tests are designed to guage one's knowledge, abilities and personality.
Guidelines to Psychometric Test
Step 1: All shortlisted candidates would be required to register on the Trident TRMS portal, the link of which would be individually shared to the participant through email.
Step 2: On confirmation of Portal Registration, shortlisted candidates will receive an email containing:
- A Link leading to the Psychometric Test page.
- Individual Login IDs / passwords to initiate the Psychometric Test.
The psychometric profiling Test must be strictly attempted and completed by the shortlisted candidate between the dates given . A failure to do so would automatically lead to termination of their nomination from the recruitment process.
Candidates shortlisted from the psychometric test will be eligible to appear for the final round at Trident plant in Ludhiana, Barnala.

Grand Finals at Trident – Premises Barnala
Students would be scrutinized on, along with the factors in the 1st Stage of the activity, various key skills that are essential to the selection criteria of Trident Group. This would be the decisive round from which candidates for the final interview shall be selected.
Business Simulation Grand Finals (Prelims & Finals)
Shortlisted students from the 1st Round will be invited to the trident premises where the final simulation based round would be carried out. Students would be exposed to the simulation software but with tougher predefined parameters.
Professionals from our Trident Group would scrutinize the students on, along with the factors in the 1st Stage of the activity, various key skills that are essential to the selection criteria of Trident Group. This would be the one of the decisive round from which candidates for the final interview shall be selected.

In Basket Activities
Here, candidates would be put through a set of grueling activities designed to judge their behavioral traits as well as business acumen to sort out the best fitting people for the Trident Group.

Travel Reimbursement Details:
Travel Expenses will only be reimbursed after the submission of Hard Copy of Original Travel Bills/Tickets along with Completely Filled Reimbursement Form by the candidate arriving for Grand Finale Rounds.

All Finalists invited to the Grand Finale at Trident are requested to go thoroughly through the checklist given below to make preparations for the Grand Finale at Trident.
The candidate must carry his/her:
- To and Fro Travel Bookings.
- Original Photo ID Proof (Driving License / Passport / Voter ID / Pan Card / Aadhar Card) to the venue.
- Self Attested Copy of Latest Resume (2 Nos.)
- Self Attested Copies of Certificates (Academic and/or Professional).
- A Complete Printout of the TRMS Registration Form already filled by the candidate.
- Completely Filled Travel Reimbursement Form (Note: the candidates to fill their "Name" in the Travel Reimbursement Form exactly as it appears on their Bank Passbooks for cheque/DD payment facilitation).
- A wifi - enabled laptop - Minimum System Requirement to participate in the Business Simulation Grand Finale on the 26th Dec 2013.

Personal Interview & Offer Letter
The final interview will be carried out by Trident Group amongst the selected student.
After the Personal Interviews Stage, this round entails declaration of results of the finally selected candidates for Placements along with the offer and acceptance of the same.
